Acted as part of a consulting group for the Georgia Rail Passenger Authority acting as the People Mover Expert in the evaluation and criteria development of a proposal to enable the contracting for a People Mover connecting the new International Terminal at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport with a 9,000 Space Parking Structure and proposed Multi-Model Station to the East of the Airport.

Technical Consultant to the Elevated Transportation Company Board and its team during the writing of Proposition #1 which enabled funding for the project and the formation of the Seattle Popular Monorail Authority.

Acted as Independent People Mover Specialist to define the technologies, specifications, costs and schedule capabilities of various types of People Movers/Monorails for inclusion in the design of a Major Development Project in West Kowloon, China.
Barajas Airport Expansion Inter & Intra Terminal People Mover, Madrid, Spain
Provided evaluation and recommendations on feasibility of plans for two people movers at the new Madrid Barajas Airport. Subsequently, acted as the client’s representative in the evaluation of proposers’ technology to recommend successful bidder based on that technology and it’s compliance with client specifications.

Independently evaluated the methodology of the technical portion of the procurement process for the Automated Light Rail to ascertain fairness and adherence to industry standards. Also was requested to evaluate content of one Consortia’s Bid in order to ensure Technical compliance and to offer suggestions for upgrades beyond the Technical Specification.

Responsible for the Preliminary Design of all Systems disciplines and their interface with Civil, Mechanical and Architectural design for the Pasadena Blue (Gold) line extension.
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) On Call Engineering Service, Oakland, CA
Responsible for management of all phases of this Engineering On-call contract including facilities and station enhancements Preliminary and Final design, design services during construction, claim mitigation and management. The scope of this contract also covered secunded personnel in areas of contract administration, financial analysis, Y2K facilitation, specification writing, and project scheduling. An important part of the Sr. Project Manager’s responsibilities was to act as the Business Development representative for the company throughout the West Coast. |
